HEALTHY LIVING

WHAT DOES HEALTHY LIVING MEAN TO YOU

Healthy living comes in different ways for the individual.  It comes as a complete state of mental, physical and overall social well-being in most cases.  Health is beautiful and offers assurance and peace of mind.  Healthy living allows us to do many things we wish for in life.  We think of travelling, activities of daily living, a balanced diet, physical exercises and above all fashion and make-ups, we need good health to achieve them all.

HEALTH CARE IS BEAUTIFUL

Health needs appreciating at all cost.  Moreover, many things taking for granted while enjoying good health creates awareness of importance when illness becomes unavoidable.  Health is wealth and luxury.  Therefore, everyone needs to make their health as safe as possible by doing what is right.

HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The National Health Service (NHS) health recommendations.  Things to do to keep fit and healthy.  Above all, being mindful of daily living with a healthy balanced diet, five a day fruits, exercises, resting and maintaining good sleep.

SAINT ALEXANDRA

We recognise the fact that healthy living comes in different ways and means different things to individuals.   As a result, take fashion, for instance, we all need good health to keep thinking of summer wears, spring and winter: sportswear, party dresses, inner wears, casual and significant occasions.  The skin needs toning to look smooth, soft and fresh, the hair, and all these are part of health.  Wait a minute, what about furnishing a home that makes anyone happy, including luxurious kitchens.  What keeps us comfortable is also part of health, weddings, celebrations, achievements and compassion for one another.

CLINICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL

When individuals are ill and poorly, unable to do many things for themselves, health becomes paramount.  We advocate preventive measures all the time under health promotion and education.  It is essential to put in what we can to make it count.  Health is an investment, and it prolongs deterioration of illness and a quicker recovery.  However, if the disease gets to the stage of palliative care, this does not mean that life stops, but a chance to put things into perspectives.  Individuals should live their lives, irrespective of malady, go and enjoy the time with yourself and or with family and friends.  Life and health work hand in hand when accepted.  Make the most of healthy living in all that you do.

THE GREATEST OF ALL IS HEALTH

WALKING FOR HEALTHY LIFE

WALKING FOR HEALTHY LIFE PARAMOUNT:

Walking for a good healthy life is paramount.   In the first instance, it is what every child learn to do at the earliest beginning of development, probably nine months to twelve.  A child should have learnt to stand and take a walk.  Practice makes perfect, and day by day, this child becomes confident, and learn-to walk fast and starts running, learning achieved.  Therefore, walking is a necessity in life.  Moreover, most activities concerning movement require walking when full health is present.

OUTDOOR WALKING IS HEALTHY

Often people say we take a walk and what does this phrase mean exactly, l will tell you.  Taking a walking exercise is healthy from a psychosocial, biological and philosophical point of view.  Walking will help you to lose weight; of course, this is correct as it burns off excess calories in the body.  It helps to feel light and improves digestion and cardiovascular system.

However, there are many benefits to walking exercise.  Your bones and muscles will become stronger, get to stretch and to feel healthier.  The fresh air is so amazing that you feel alive again. Psychologically improved, able to think straight, and anger is well controlled, and if not forgotten and forgive.  Walking also enhances and strengthen relationships. Couples who take a walk during the day or evening have lots to talk about and fallen more in love due to a better understanding of one another.  Good idea also, for families, the family that walks together stays together.

THE CHEAPEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE EXERCISE

Walking exercise is so cheap and most effective if fully committed.  It explains why most people that walk a dog feel healthier, only because they experienced the benefits, and are fully committed to walking their dogs and at the same time enjoy the outcome of walking.  It is cheap, all you need is comfortable shoes or trainers. You can manage the distance able to walk, either once a day or twice a day and how many times a week.  Guess, one hundred and fifty minutes is not that bad as tolerated.

However, if for any reason, unable to walk far distance, a minimum distance is good enough and increase daily as able to manage.  You can take your walk around your garden if unable to walk outdoors.  Some people take their walking in their long corridors.  Walking takes place anywhere safe, so long the intended minutes is achieved.

Get your walking shoes and comfortable wears, putting music to the ears while walking isn’t a bad idea.  Music will help you to achieve the speed of your walking time, and the tune will enhance motivation.  Go out there and take a walk daily, sooner you will reap the benefits of walking that cost absolutely nothing except for the time committed.

WALKING KEEPS YOU CLINICALLY FIT

HYPERTENSION

HYPERTENSION IN OUR SOCIETY

Many people around the world are estimated to have hypertension.  Hypertension usually has no symptoms.  Still, it is a significant leading cause of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases such as stroke and heart attack.

Each year, the number of patients with these diseases is steadily growing.  Even when these life-threatening diseases do not result in death, patients can often become housebound or suffer from speech impairment.  It causes a marked drop in patients’ quality of life.  These outcomes affect not only the patients themselves but can create significant burdens on families who provide care for them.

RESPIRATORY COMPROMISE

Increasingly severe air pollution mainly in emerging economies and changes in lifestyles have caused an increase in people living with asthma.  Moreover, along with the rapid rise in the ageing population, those who suffer from knee pains are also overgrowing.  Respiratory illness and pain have already become a major social issue in our society.

Home care and personal health promotion have become a necessity.  Healthcare professionals have more to do with health promotion, going back to the basic with primary health care in the Community.  Health Education is a theoretical possibility of enhancing and providing care to individuals.  Meanwhile, personal care of those who may have suffered from the consequences of hypertension will need a full package of care both from the government and by health care professionals.

PERSONAL HOME HEALTH CARE

It is paramount that preventive measures are in place to support every individual by providing a health check program.  Guess, people need education on how to use home blood pressure monitor, blood glucose test, home oxygen and nebulisers.  Also, signs and symptoms of both high and low blood pressure, when to call for a doctor or visit the family doctor will need health education to achieve good health in our society.

Moreover, stress is usually a contributing factor to hypertension once diagnosed.  Teaching and promoting health is a necessity at all times; sleep deprivation, anger, paranoid is another measure to prevent hypertension.  Nurses should pay more attention to health promotion.  Prevention is a better cure at all cost.

CORONAVIRUS REFLECTION

CORONAVIRUS AND LIFE REFLECTION HAS MADE ME STRONG:

Coronavirus has led me to an active reflection of life.  As an Intensive Care Nurse and  Promoter of Health Education, l have the chance to look at life in general, the effects on health and illness that COVID19 has caused.  However, life is beautiful, but we must learn lessons from all this critical phase of life, to appreciate every little thing in our daily lives.  Many of us are not able to do numerous things that we take for granted, such as freedom to our daily routine of life and goals.

MY REFLECTION ON LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCES

While caring for both Coronavirus and COVID19 clients in the Intensive Care Unit, and at the same time maintaining a lockdown rule, l have time to think and reflect on the meaning of life.  On my off days, l comply with the regulations to Stay at Home and my essential place that l go-to is the hospital to care for people like you and myself.  Life is a journey; l learnt first and foremost, of what use is anything else without health?  Moreover, life is incomplete without happiness, love for humanity, Libertas, Humanitas and Felicitas.  Sharing and extending kindness to everyone in any form, no matter how little, goes a long way to achieve peace and happiness.

Moreover, l also saw human reactions to the existence of life, pain, frustration, rejection, intimidation and empowerment.  Guess the phase of life in 2020 has exposed many things that are leading to the meaning of life.  Many of us, even in workplaces, show their true colours of hate dynamically.  I will like to think that Coronavirus somehow has come to level-up the Earth, cleanse and correct so many strange things.  Above all, it is better to remain positive in times of trouble and tribulation, for it will surely pass.

CORONAVIRUS LOCKDOWN

I taught l should share what l do while complying with the government rules to Stay at Home.  As for me, l take responsibility for my life and that of others putting them first.  I do not wish to be infected with Coronavirus and not to spread it either.  Therefore, while staying at home, l have the opportunity to think of my career and hobbies.  I realise my passion for Photography and Videography, Health Promotion.  Philosophy and Motivational Therapist, and to serve my community.  I suggested to everyone to use the lockdown to think of hobbies and creativity, to keep them busy in one of my blog and on the Facebook page, and this is also what l did.  The outcome has always been that l have a passion for the above career and will be going back to school to learn the skills as an add-on to my current Vocation.

A CALL FOR A CHANGE

Life is beautiful, like a scented flower, and a better place if love and kindness are shared.  Meanwhile, of what use is life if only to live in sadness, hatred, selfishness and negativity every day. There are lessons for everyone to learn from the calamity that faces us today. There is a need for a change of attitude and be more grateful for every little blessing.  Be happy for every home has a story to tell.  Life is not perfect, and no condition has ever known to be permanent.  Life is not complicated where love is present.  Be patient, kind and forgiven, take a deep breath and enjoy the free oxygen.  Do not be afraid to ask for help when in need, and rest assured you are loved.  I conclude that Health is Wealth and l am sorry when health fails.

EVERY LITTLE KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY

INTENSIVE CARE NURSES IN PAIN

INTENSIVE CARE NURSES AND DOCTORS TRULY SORRY:

Intensive Care Nurses are in pain, and genuinely sorry for many are dying.  I was unable to sleep throughout the night because l was thinking, what is this, and how far is coronavirus taking us? What else can l do to make these patients stay with us?  We feel somehow that we are failing these patients and their families while saving a few.  It is hard and tough, watching them snatched away from us just like that.  Reflecting on the conversation had with these patients, they all wanted to make it.  What about the younger age group.  I feel for all family, and we are sorry that we are unable to save many.  Please, l am practically begging you, kindly continue to stay at home for us if you can, we love and value every human life, while we appreciate it is not easy for everyone worldwide.

INTENSIVE CARE NURSES AND DOCTORS ARE EMOTIONALLY DRAINED

Focus is on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), whether it works or not that is left for THEM to decide.  But, our faces are damaged with spots, bruises, redness, marks and stressful breathing when wearing them—and talking louder than usual, and other things.  However, the emotional stress that Nurses and Doctors are going through, families, and patients are enormous.  I could not sleep last night knowing, l will not see my patient again in the morning.  While writing this, my eyes are in tears, and grieving is present.  People who have lost someone very close knows what it means to lose anyone.  Caring for someone, hoping they will get better and the force is so strong that they pass, is heartbreaking and painful.

Moreover, my heart is broken but shall find strength from Them Up There to carry on!  I shall carry on with my duty of care, come what may.  We hardly maintain a healthy diet, nor drink enough water due to the PPE, stress, emotional pain, shock and loneliness. However, we find comfort in our Vocation to continue with our callings. To Care is Divine and a Gift.  Thank you all for your kind prayers and support, rest assure it is uplifting and helping us to know that you, the Great Briton is firmly behind us.  Please remember your exercises and balanced diet, have a good sleep and drink enough water.  Relax and be cheerful, for all shall be well.  Hand washing should be taken seriously, wash hands after every activity.  THANK YOU!

NURSES SHALL SERVE THE COUNTRY TO THE LAST

We will carry on with the sinking ship and the cross, and see where it lands.  United Kingdom Nurses and Doctors will not give up, and we shall serve our dear Country to the very last, no matter how many of us shall be left.  We shall fulfil our obligations during this Pandemic.  Above all, we also know, one day we shall all conquer COVID19.  Be strong and bear patience, for it will soon be over before we know it.  Although, for how long has no immediate answer, but somehow mysterious things do happen and will bring Pandemic to an end.  Darkness always fades away once there is light and there will always be light everywhere on Earth as much as it is over THERE.

BE STILL MY SOUL HUMANITAS FELICITAS

INTENSIVE CARE NURSES

 PATIENTS ARE FAMILY TO US:

Intensive Care Bedside Nurses.  The Nurses care for the patients like how a mother will look after her sons and daughters, especially when feeling sick or ill.  The care from Bedside Nurses is what leads to patient’s recovery at the earliest when admitted to the Ward and or Intensive Care Unit.  Moreover, l am glad to be an Intensive Care Bedside Nurse, caring for Coronavirus patients face to face.  Stay healthy everyone at this difficult time. Everything will be alright again.

PATIENTS ARE FAMILY TO NURSES

The bedside Nurses are the healing hands, the Nucleus of healthcare, the heartbeat of care in itself.  We are not social distancing from our patients, and we wear our protective equipment and care for our patients as usual.  As bedside nurses, we know patients and families depend totally on us to help them and restore their health.  The greatest of all is health, we understand that, and I and my colleagues, the Doctors and associate healthcare professionals, all hands are on deck to help our patients get through this challenging time successfully.  Meanwhile, we respect and value our patients and their families. And, the Nurses understand the emotional stress families are going through because they are unable to visit the hospital and patients are not able to see their loved ones when most needed.
We only wanted you to know that your loved ones are safe in our hands, and they are not alone.  The Bedside Nurses are your best friend and part of your family.  We are looking after your loved ones very well. Nurses are feeding, washing, treating and comforting them.  Put your mind at rest because we are on it.  God bless you all.  May, the good Angels, help us to treat and restore our patient’s health to normal. CORONAVIRUS WILL SURELY BE DEFEATED.

NURSES ARE THE REAL GOOD SAMARITANS

Moreover, Nurses have these interpersonal skills, holding your hands, giving assurance and instil confidence in you and telling you, it is going to be alright.  The soft tone of voice and gentle touch, showing you compassion and saying, you will get well and discharge from the Unit, don’t worry.  They carry out the Physicians plans for the patient, and it is down to the bedside nurse to deliver it and achieve positive results.  Also, the Nursing Intervention, support, compassion, empathise care given to the patient is unmeasurable.  Vocation is a Vocation with a bonus of education, leading to a professional career.  However, without the inner calling in the first place, nothing else makes it work better.  The genuine calling always makes a massive positive difference to any care. Guess it is right to say, Bedside Nurses, hold the keys to nursing back the good health from illnesses.

THE BEDSIDE NURSING INTERVENTION

We love Bedside Nursing because it is where the healing itself takes place.  Therefore, we support everyone’s job with a shared goal to see our patients get better.  We seemingly work with Doctors and Surgeons from all Department, and, with Dietician, Healthcare Associates, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Speech Therapist.  And also, Ambulance Staff, Families, Cleaners, Kitchen Assistant and Porters.  We all aim to achieve a common goal to see patients speedy recovery.

Moreover, we work together as a team, and while maintaining a good team spirit, we make team efforts and a better outcome for patients and their families.  And for us, we produce a sense of satisfaction and selflessness.  Meanwhile, without bedside Nurses, there will not be hospital admissions, surgery, Outpatient Clinics, and so on.  Nurses are the vital strong-hold of Healthcare industries, and they should get respect and recognition at all cost.

BEDSIDE NURSES MAKE PATIENTS WELL AGAIN

We care for all the body organ system in intensive care units, and the use of technical equipment that supports multiple organs and preventing various organ failures.  We use Ventilators (Kidney machines), Monitoring, Skin and Pressure Sores management.  Besides, what about drugs and infusions, Nursing Skills and quick intervention, hands-on, to mention a few.  Also, we ask Oh; God bless bedside Nurses for all what they do.  We are the end stick of the arrow and love what we quietly do by the patients’ bedside.  We also keep the bedside clean and tidy by the way!

Thank you to all the people around the World for staying at home and obeying COVID19 RULES.  The Nurses and Doctors stand by you both day and night.  Meanwhile, the other day l was looking through the hospital windows, while at work, and l saw birds flying in the sky, they appeared happy and cheerful, flying so freely.  And, l thought how pleasant it would be for us to feel free and happy again, start a healthy life and moving forward.  But, still, l felt how do the birds feed themselves following a lockdown?  No food is throwing consciously or unconsciously on the ground by humans as a result of staying at home.  Although it seems the pollution level is less, perhaps that makes the birds happy and can feel the fresh air. However, guess it is right and just to say, somehow Mother Nature feeds and take care of, all things bright and beautiful, especially during a stressful situation and or a circumstance.  We find a solace somehow in life.

NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION

CORONAVIRUS PSYCHOSOCIAL

DEALING WITH THE EFFECTS OF CORONAVIRUS AT HOME:

Coronavirus and psychosocial at home is undoubtedly challenging and daunting.  The government, the NHS, healthcare workers have pleaded for everyone to stay at home.  The people of the United Kingdom have listened and now staying at home indefinitely.  THANK YOU.  How do we cope with staying at home after some time?  How do we manage the psychosocial implications of staying at home longer than usual?

CORONAVIRUS AND WELL-BEING

Staying off work and at home in a normal situation is a relief to have a good rest, fulfil schedule travelling, carry out plans and many other arrangements that need accomplishing.  Proper sleep and freedom to do whatever you want, such as activities of daily living, exercises, a balanced diet, healthy lifestyle and some DIY.  However, at present, the type of staying at home is abnormal and compulsory.  Moreover, it presents anxiety, worries, fear of the unknown and financial insecurity.  The schools and businesses closed, freedom of movement, job security and health are compromised.  Society seeks a quick solution to eradicate Coronavirus as soonest and to build back a healthy life.

HOW DO WE OVERCOME PSYCHOSOCIAL STRESS

It is indeed a challenging time. Who would have thought that the beautiful Christmas and the New Year celebrated only just a few months ago, will turn around to hunt humanity this way with Coronavirus.  People have been unwell, and many have lost their lives and the worse of all, families are not allowed to visit loved ones at the hospital.  And, not even wife, sons, daughters and grandchildren have the chance to hold the hands of the loved ones, and to watch the last breath taken, and to say their goodbyes.  How terrible is this?  It is cruel.

At this point, our heart goes to affected families throughout the world.  We are sorry that we were unable to save their lives, and we pay our condolences with hymns (ABIDE WITH ME: IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL: ROCK OF AGES: NEARER MY GOD TO THEE: AND GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS).  Nurses and Doctors are now families to patients, standing by them and telling them it is going to be alright.  Meanwhile, Nurses gives the end of life care and final respect, while tears roll down their cheeks.  Moreover, some patients were lucky to use mobile phones, iPad to receive goodbyes from families.  It is not pleasant, isn’t it?  Personally, nearly two decades of Intensive Care Nursing have not seen anything like this.  It is right to say; indeed, it is strange.

Similarly, can life ever be the same again?  Fear for the future is building up every day, will l be infected, will l survive, my business, jobs, plans for life, weddings, birth and children, healthy ways of life, will it ever be normal again.  All of these questions need answers.

COPING OR NOT COPING AT HOME

However, all is not lost.  It is time to fight back by getting rid of anxiety, fears and worries.  Everyone copes differently and accepting the situation we are in, taking responsibility and discipline, is the first victory.  Obeying the government and medical officer’s advise is another step to accomplishing a positive way forward.  Coping at home can be a moment for reflection, guess time to do those things that you had wanted to do of which time does not permit. It will be good t learn passionate hobbies, such as drawing, reading novels, learning musical instruments, dancing, singing, painting and sewing, wedding planner and motivational speech Therapist. And think of creativity that will earn you additional income working from home, when life comes back to normal.  Re-kindle your love to partners and family.

Is it time to get occupied with creativity and think less of Coronavirus?  Coronavirus is a phase, and it will pass anyhow, just nobody knows how long it will linger around.  However, have a fighting spirit, get up and do something beautiful for yourself, whether staying at home or going to work.  It is a situation that we are in 2020.  It is nobody’s fault, and we have to face it and find a way to get over it, while the government get on with it to find the quickest solutions possible.

Music is functional psychotherapy proven by Neurologist.  Play music, for music, brings joy and happiness, dance, meditate, yoga if you can, and exercise.  Maintain a balanced diet, and put your mind at rest; we are all in it together.  Eat well, and sleep well, and don’t worry, everything will be alright again.  Moreover, our scientists, infection and disease experts are looking for a solution critically at present.

Overall, Nurses will remain the dedicated ring bearers and the frontline carers, caring for all patients.  Bear with us, for our hearts are bleeding too.  Look after one another, live in peace and harmony.  One most significant medicine towards all of these is LOVE.  Stand together as a family and show affection to one another.  Love conquers many negative things, where love exists, there are lights and light overrides darkness.  Watch films together, play music and enjoy it together at home, be happy.  I leave you all in peace while we carry on caring for our dear patients in the intensive care unit.  There will always be joy in the morning and may Coronavirus not steal our joy and freedom.  May life treat you kind, and find you a comforter during this challenging phase of life, and forever.

YOU RAISE ME UP HUMANITAS FELICITAS!

THANK YOU UNITED KINGDOM FOR STAYING AT HOME FOR US.

CORONAVIRUS STAY AT HOME

STAY AT HOME FOR US WE ARE AT THE HOSPITAL WORKING:

We are at the hospital Intensive Care Unit, looking after Coronavirus patients.  We have a duty of care at hands right now, and we understand it is not easy to make a change of a lifestyle overnight.  Still, it is achievable to stay healthy and alive and not infected or spreading the virus further, meaning more work for us if it continues to spread.  We are caring for and treating Coronavirus patients face-face, and it is real.

EVERYONE HAVE A DUTY OF CARE AND RESPONSIBILITY

The government knows everyone needs to eat and meet social amenities and so they are on it.  Above all else, avoid droplets at all cost.  Cover your food and drinks wherever you may be as nobody knows when anyone will sneeze or cough, cook your food in your kitchen and take responsibility.  Wash your hands regularly after touching anything unclean.  Be careful touching the door handles, if sharing a flat or a home.  Whatever you consider vulnerable.  Do not rub your eyes, face, mouth. Avoid eating anything without first wash your hands.  Moisturise your hands after washing your hands, because hands get dry quickly.

Moreover, eat well, and exercise in your flat or gardens and that will be healthy.  The Coronavirus phase will pass in due course.  We are busy and have put this piece of health promotion and education together for everyone, during interval breaks.

KEEP YOUR PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING INTACT

Don’t worry about anything, and we are on it for everyone.  Please, pray for Nurses and Doctors at this time.  Some of us will get infected and who knows how many will survive.  Some of us have young children, husbands, wives, friends and parents too.  However, this is our vacation rather a job, and we have our duty of care under control for everyone.  After all, a soldier goes to war, not knowing what the future holds, yet they represent and protect us.  It is time for genuine dedication, compassion, empathy and commitment.  Above all else, we believe that we can achieve victory if you, the government and healthcare professionals, work together.

OUR VOCATION AND HIPPOCRATIC OATH

This Coronavirus is Doctors and Nurses callings, and we are happy to sacrifice everything within our power to keep everyone safe and alive. Please help us to stay at home.  Thank you.

If you suspect high temperature, muscular ache, dry cough, fever, shortness of breath call your Doctor who will advise you further on the next step or ring NHS direct on 111.  There is a link attached to this article.  Please do not go to your Doctor or GP Surgery.  If you think that you may have come in contact with an infected person or need self-isolation, please follow the NHS guidance.  We love the world, and we love you.  We appreciate it is not easy to stay at home and not knowing when it will end, and it is a new lifestyle for everyone, we hope by God’s willing, our Scientists will find answers and solutions to Coronavirus.  Be brave and stay safe for us.  THANK YOU!
TOGETHER WE DEFEAT CORONAVIRUS HUMANITAS FELICITAS

CORONAVIRUS IS PANDEMIC

WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS:

Coronavirus is now a pandemic according to the World Health Organisation (WHO), and the virus can cause illness from a common cold to more severe diseases such as respiratory syndrome.  It is said to transmit between person to person or among people.  At present, it is difficult to find the actual source of the Pandemic, but researchers are on it.  Today, WHO has officially declared Coronavirus as a PANDEMIC.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS

Fever

Cough

High Temperature

Breathing difficulty (Shortness of breath)

Tiredness

Possible headaches

However, when having these symptoms, it does not necessarily mean the virus is present. It is difficult to know what type of flu it is until tested.  The primary symptoms are not different from a common cold or flu.  Still, it can divert to the more severe illness and in need of hospitalisation, causing pneumonia, difficulty in breathing and escalating to more severe disease.  However, it is best to follow the Coronavirus Test rule laid down by your Federal Ministry of Health, and the World Health at large.  Report any symptoms to your healthcare provider as soon as possible and abstain from gatherings as much possible.  Travel if deemed necessary and check the status of Coronavirus in the country or cities that you are going and the land of abode, before travelling.

WHAT TO DO TO AVOID CATCHING THE SPREAD

It is vital to wash hands with soap and water efficiently after every activity.  Cover mouth and nose whenever you cough or sneeze, use tissues or handkerchief and throw them in the bin straight away, remember to wash your hands.  Please, do not touch your nose, eyes, mouth or food if your hands are not clean.  It is time to take hand washing very seriously, of which here at SaintAlexandra, we have advocated the need for handwashing several times. Check our handwashing articles.

Try to avoid close contact with gatherings and follow healthcare safety measures of the country that you live.  Take plenty of fruits, water, and ensure your vitamin C level is adequate.  Eat natural food and boost your electrolytes and energy, keep safe.

CURE FOR CORANAVIRUS

Cure presently is unknown, and World Scientists are working very hard to find solutions to cure and eradicate the virus.  Currently, no antibiotics recommendation is known. However, treatment will continue anyhow to find what works for an individual.

Everyone should take responsibility for their health and adhere to Public Health advice at all time.  May solution be sort soon as Pandemic is terrible news to humans.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE KEEP SAFE

THE EFFECT OF MUSIC ON HEALTH

MUSIC WORLD-CLASS NATURAL PHYSICIAN:

The effects of music on health is indescribable.  There are different types of music, and all have a therapeutic impact on our feelings and health.  How we feel affects our mood. Therefore, it is fair to say that music and dancing is part of a healthy lifestyle.  Often, we talk about exercises, healthy diet, balanced diet, giving up smoking and alcohol, but we tend to forget that music also plays a significant role in health and well-being.

ADVANTAGES OF SONGS AND DANCING

Some types of music serve as a therapy for the body and soul, good for psychological stability and emotional distress in terms of calming solution.  Many occasions, l have witness soft music helping some clients to fall asleep on the hospital bed, and yet other interventions failed.

Music is medicinal, joyful, and healing of the mind.  The power of music is enormous in health.  It takes control of our emotions positively.  Often people cry, smile, dance, feel happy, fall in love and all in the name of music.  But, what is it in music that its so powerful to capture our inner feelings so passionately?  The songs shapes movement and psychological well being.  And, dancing is good for the heart, brain, digestive system, bones, muscles and other organ functions.  It promotes physical and mental stability in all circumstances.  Dancing is so good that l thought if only we can sing and dance, the world would remain a better place to live.

THE POWER OF SONGS

Music is old and has been in existence from the very beginning and today lives on. Music survives language barrier, ethnicity, gender, sex and inequality.  Music and dancing bring people together all over the world and does not matter if you understand the language used or not, the passion in the voice, the beats, drums all said it all.  You dance along, even if only to shake the head, it heals the mind, music is a great physician. Long ago, music was a form of a messenger, and great people pass messages through music to the world. The musicians sang with passion and compassion and not for money or fame; they sang so beautifully and delivered the news with enthusiasm.

The introduction of cool and calm music to the hospitals for in-patient is paramount. One may argue about the negative impact, but no, it provides a positive outcome if the right music is delivered.  Music therapy is undoubtedly necessary for critically ill patients, and it depends on circumstances.  However, it does help to heal the mind and make the pain ease off gradually.  It brightens the day and brings hope alive, reduces anxiety and stress of all callings.  Music helps with the sleeping problem and a useful source of meditation.  It is suitable for comfort, and the healing of headaches, hyperactive and underactive moods.  Music is a world-class physician.  Who does not like or want a piece of music?  We need songs for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and also any gathering.  And, indeed, songs are part of a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, everyone should embrace quality music to promote their health.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO ALL MUSICIAN.  THANK YOU
